When she graduated in 1992 Amanda Bossard began her research in marine biology at Anchorage in Alaska at the University of Alaska Pacific. Bossard began her career in the commercial seafood industry in the year 1999. That year she was employed in Murat Aritan's 65-foot halibut boat, which was later converted into a fish tender. Bossard, who is married to Aritan she has joined forces in order to claim their businesses. Both of them are proponents of saving and maximizing the use of sustainable resources within the industry of seafood.
