When she graduated in 1992 Amanda Bossard began her research in marine biology at Anchorage in Alaska at the University of Alaska Pacific. Bossard began her career in the commercial seafood industry in the year 1999. That year she was employed in Murat Aritan's 65-foot halibut boat, which was later converted into a fish tender. Bossard, who is married to Aritan she has joined forces in order to claim their businesses. Both of them are proponents of saving and maximizing the use of sustainable resources within the industry of seafood. In 2007, the mother to two kids Bella age three and Andre 1 Bossard then returning to living in Philadelphia and opened an online direct market wholesale distributor of seafood called Otolith. The couple is separated by five months, and more for her to focus on her goals in terms of finances and her environmental goals.
